Connecting Cultures Through Tea Since 1923.
Tea Roots
In the year of 1923 my great grand father started a life in tea. He became a prominent tea merchant and tea exporter in ancient Persia, where tea cultivation had begun two decades earlier.
He travelled on the back of horse carriages to Russia, delivering fresh Gilan harvests to the Russians, who enjoyed the Persian tea.
Upon returning, he would import Russian home goods, Samovars in particular, for the Persian Tea drinkers back home.
The love for tea, the craft and the culture behind it lives on within me as I carry on his legacy sourcing and delivering hand crafted teas straight from the source to tea lovers across the world. As great tea enthusiast throughout decades, you are ensured to find tea with quality at Kiani Tea, sourcing tea which I enjoy drinking every day.
; rejoice
Rejoice in everything, even in small things. If you start rejoicing, even a cup of tea starts having a sacred significance.” - Osho, Art of Tea
