In Nazanin's words: " I grew up drinking out of smaller tea glasses we called "Estekan" in Farsi. Some are round, some are tall and curved like the traditional Turkish tea glass. I chose the tall and curved shape because it was also the best shape for Nabat Choobie or rock candy on a stick. Rock candy was either plain or saffron-infused like the gold colored one on this pin."
